The MDJ de LaSalle is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to improve the quality of life of the LaSalle borough youths and citizens by providing youth aged 12-17 a lively place to meet. The MDJ seeks to play a part in helping its youths become fully active and responsible citizens. It aims to provide them a place where to socialize and develop projects on and of their own. Through sport, cultural, and entrepreneurial activities, the youths experience greater opportunities to realize their full potential. The MDJ also seeks to encourage them to speak up as young individuals and citizens as well as convey them positive values such as solidarity, autonomy, equality, and generosity. The MDJ is a lively place which reflects the LaSalle community as well as its cultural diversity and where our youths can find someone to talk to and seek support when faced with personal issues. The intervention team at MDJ is competent and available.
Our mission is to awaken hopes and dreams in the community through excellence in programming that fosters the overall development and success of youth, increases access to food security and health for all and offers work training programs.
